Brad Woolworth and Dave Miller, who some of you might have met at this year's convention, are the go-to guys on the '03 convention.

I've done a moderate amount of work in coding the '03 Convention website, but no one beyond myself (including the KCSERCA List) has seen it. I intend to do correct that soon and solicit opinions and enlist more help in the coding. I talked to Brad, and we'd like this to be the first SE-R Convention with online registration. It's going to be a one-stop affair for everyone attending - all maps and schedules should be ready to print well in advance (a problem in the past that has caused confusion).

I suspect this is going to be a fairly large convention, at least comparable to the last three. It has bounced from coast to coast, and it's back in the middle of the country for '03. In addition to the long haul regulars, one-day drives for the Texas, midwest, and Great Lakes crowds will mean a massive turnout. KC is about as central to the lower 48 states as you can get, a boon for the enthusiasts who aren't able to make it to other events.

Don't call me on this, but I bet this will involve the road course at Heartland and possibly the drag strip there. The strip at KCIR is another possibility. There will be more on this in the future.

Hey JimR,
Don't know if you would be interested, but www.myautoevents.com has an on-line registration capability. A lot of SCCA regions are using it to pre-register for Solo's.
Just an FYI.
