First, are there any NX'en in/around San Diego that would want to take some time to have some items fitted on their cars?

I e-mailed Andrew at BlueBatMobile (http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/BlueBatmobile2005/) to see about some overlays for my NX headlights. I got the idea from the B14 boys in this thread (http://www.sr20forum.com/200sx-se-r/204075-bluebatmobile-overlays-b14s-%2Apics%2A.html). I'm sure the guy would be willing to make overlays for just about any of the items on our car if there is interest and a test dummy.

I am partial to the slightly smoked look for my headlights to help protect them while driving (especially on track). They also would match my color scheme, but protection would be my preference.

Here is a Spec V with one on:

I believe he can also make them in yellow and a darker tint.

Here is a quote about the stuff:

All www.Bluebatmobile.net Overlays are made from a 7 Year rated High Performance Premium Vinyl, very durable! All Overlays mount to the outside surface, and priced for the pair or complete kit!. Application is Peel and Stick with the aid of soap and water, and a hair dryer for some applications. Overlays can be removed if desired with no or minimal residue left behind by applying heat with a hairdryer or heat gun and slowly peel off. Cannot be reapplied. All kits come with application instructions.

Any interest or any guinea pigs available?

Josh

If you just need some headlights, I can donate a pair. But I have long-term plans that don't include the NX headlights...so I wouldn't want to donate any $.

ive seen a few of them, and on like a 350 they look like butt in person i think. but they have exposed edges. an nx with its inset lights might not look bad. but id want them to be way thicker. like what greg amy runs on his race car. its like 1/8" thick clear vinyl that keeps rocks from shattering the lens not only does it hold them together if they shatter, they are somewhat padded
