No I want to replace the stock crank and water pullies with aftermarket ones, ie UR.

www.ptuning.com had them for $209 out the door about 4 weeks ago. The only way to get them cheaper is to find someone that has engineered/machined their own set.

I did machine my own set. I can get copies made for $189 plus shipping.

Let me know if this helps.

Hey sernut, do you know if PTUNING.com sells the UR set w/belts?
I'm too busy/lazy, but mostly busy:D, to call right now. THANX

I doubt they'll sell the belts also. If you want OE belts, just call courtesy (but make sure they correct the size for the UR's).

If you don't mind aftermarket, I think Napa belts are the best.

BTW, don't hesitate to upgrade your pulleys... IMHO, this is the second best upgrade available for sr20's. I luv 'em.

Also, if you are putting them on yourself, you will either need an impact wrench or you'll have to remove the valve cover and lock down the cam gears with something (screwdriver maybe). And when you are putting the new crank pulley on, every turn or so, pull the bolt back out and make sure the "crank key" is still in place. My mechanic ruined one crank pulley and one key by cranking the pulley down on top of the key.

Have fun...

I'm intrigued here. What else modification wise do you have done to your car? Pullies are the only bolt on that I don't have and I'm trying to justify to myself to buy them. I've spoken with other people about them and gotten mixed reviews. Do you like them that much?

There is no way I would ever use the cams to loosen the crank pulley. You can do major damage if something where to slip. The best way in an impact gun, or use a breaker bar on the nut, and use quick bursts of the starter to loosen the bolt. You can stretch the chain, or cause it to skip a tooth.

Hey Matt4Nissan, even though I don't have pullies I think that you would find them to be an asset. They help with the cavitation on the water pump caused by high rpms. Plus they help control the power loss that occurs when you have your ac on. Because you live in Florida, I'm sure that second reason should be more than enough. Unless you're one of those "real men" who don't use/have ac.;)

I LIKE THEM THAT MUCH! I also have an 11 lbs flywheel and a Borla exhaust. When I put my pulleys on, i also removed the a/c. The difference is night and day. Don't expect it to feel like a turbo or something but, I can't believe I spent the $400 on the flywheel before I spent the $210 on the pulleys. The pulleys are much better investment and better for our engines b/c they eliminate the cavitation at higher rpms.

Also, about the cam gears. I know it might seem a little unorthodox (pardon the pun), but if you don't have an impact wrench, its a relatively safe way to save you a rental charge for an air compressor and impact wrench. Obviously, if you have an impact wrench available, it is easier, faster, and less risky to do that.

Hi, I went to the UR pulleys site, trying to find out what size belt to use on the pulleys. It looks like you need just one belt, to make it work.

Part # Gates - K040340

BTW I got this belt at CarQuest , it was 7 bucks and some change.

Looks like a bitch to put these pulleys on.
I think somebody else will be installing these babys.....lol

Nope, you need to replace both belts. See here for an explanation.

What about the AEM fuel management thingy? And you had better get the set of four pullies (the other two will make a 1-2 hp difference).

UR has them listed on their site, or do a search here, the belt part numbers are listed in at least 4 or 5 threads.
