I live in Hampton/Virginia Beach area and already know about Tidewater Sports Car Club. I want to do some more events but it has been awhile and I am out of touch with what is available in this area.

look on the web for the BMW car club of america. They do quite a few events in NY, and I know they have chapters in other states.
i think the main address is

www.bmwcca.org

and look around for the VA chapter, i would think they have one.

ALso, goto

www.scca.org

you should be able to find more info there as well.

good luck!

So I can attend a BMW event with a Nissan? I actually have a friend with a M3 and we could go together.

absolutley! They run in different classes though, so you cant spank your buddy, you can just compare timeslips.

ALL the events i do in NY are with the BMW club. Lots of good guys, always willing to go for a ride with you and give out some pointers.

Better find a place steve, i am pretty sure i moving down near you soon!

then you could go with a nissan buddy! ;)

Come on down. It would be great to have a track buddy. I will check out the BMW club.

Steve, Tarheel SCC will be at VMP in July. Come on out if your car is in one piece.

Must register on-line in order to attend (note: only club members are allowed to register until the last 2 weeks before the event.)

The SCCA's Old Dominion Region recently kick-started their Solo II program: http://members.aol.com/odrscca/ . They're running at an airfield somewhere in Va. Beach. That tool maxQ has run there. :D
