Anyone got b&g coilovers? I've seen them for about 1100 a set. Koni's for about $464 and GC coilover kit for $399.

So for about 200 more I rather get a good set of coilovers. I'm gonna email them to get some more info from them.

Height is adjustable from 1.2-3.5 inch drop.

Search on this Forum (and the forums at www.b15sentra.net) for "BG" "B&G" "B+G" and posts from user "david".
He was the only one brave enough to buy them and had some problems with (I think) a strut going bad and a lot of difficulties in replacing it.
HE has gone over to Motivationals which (according to him) give a much better handling car as well.

IIRC, david was having problems with them because he was using the stock struts.

Ryan stop flinging monkey poop. :-P

The coilovers are threaded shocks with springs. They reused the stock upper mounts though. That caused a lot of problems in the rear because on the b15 there is a high amount of rubber used to keep the shaft centered. Once that rubber wears out the shock body starts to move all around causing issues. I did in fact have one of the front shocks go bad as well. Right now they are sitting in a box because I don't want to deal with it and got fed up even bothering.

This is all in regards to their b15 application which doesn't even have a useful rear spring rate (225lb) That is much too light for the rear of the b15.

Until they come up with a solution for the top mount or you plan on repacing them every 30k miles or so and they fix the rear spring rate I would stay away.

I'm looking at the b14 application which has a different part number associated with it. The reason I'm looking into these is because I cant find the Motivational ones anywhere. If you can point me to reseller, that has them in stock, then I'll get those.

I don't think anyone has the motivationals in "stock" I thought each set was pretty much made to order.

as for the Motivationals. Call Mike Saki directly. His number can be found off his webpage. http://www.motivational.net I don't believe he has any resellers. He does pretty much make every set to order. Give him a call and he give you what the lead time will be for them.
