i got this problem with my lights.. and its driving me crazy.. i've just got a ticket yesterday cu'z the officer said i was rolling with high beams on.. ok there it is..when i turn my lights the high beam indicator goes on too...and drivers light goes hi-beam..passengers side stays at low beams..what i do to correct this is..to give a little forward push to the stick.. so the drivers side light goes back to low beam and the indicator turns off... i could deal with that if the streets were flat as a table... but they are like sh*t.. and with a little bump it goes..high beam again.. (just drivers side)..does any one know how i can fix it.. or if there's no other solution than changing the whole stick.. i hope u guys can help me..

I agree - my guess is that you need to replace the switch on the column. You MIGHT try taking it apart and using some non-conducting lubricant to clean it up, but I'd not hold out much hope for that approach. If you're handy and don't mind the extra time, you might save some bux by trying a used one out of a yard.

I ahd the same prolbem and bought 3 new switch assembly form the yard, all had the prolbem but the last one was tolerable, it wasn't so bad

Had the same issue when I installed my crystal clears yesterday. I had to flip the wires on the connector to the lamp, and it worked :biggthump

That will be the preferable choice. Get out your multimeter though and make sure that's what it is. I'd hate to see you spend those bux and have it be a short somewhere else - it's really likely it's the switch, but (for example) make sure with the multimeter it's shorting before you spend the bux.
