why get a ecu when it limits your boundaries. get some kind of engine management so you can go past what jwt does. why let jwt limit your car when you can build a program specifically to how you drive and your car reacts.
BUT..i am not saying jwt is a bad product. keep that in mind...spell check...lol

doesnt the AFC only let you increase the injectors a certain size over the stockers?

Tech II (or III) kicks ass, you can control everything from timing, to fuel enrichment, etc. much smoother and linear.

AFC only lets you play with fuel, you would have to get some sort of timing control in conjunction to make the best of the boost you have.

what computer are you running kjopi -sleeper-?

it's not just a certain size over the stockers...it's a percentage (+- 50%) over whatever the stock ecu is telling the injector to do. and i'm running a g20 ecu.

so, how are you going to get enough fuel for the 300 whp if the highest you can run are 388cc injectors? my 370's topped out at 250 whp.

you gonna run 4 bar of fuel pressure or something?

The Emange u can go up to 900cc injectors over your stockers. and u can do timing control too, and Add a Map Sensor so u can fine tune ur setup. U can use a MAP sensor on the AFC too to fine tune too. What this trick dose is use the map sensor instead of the TPS sensor to tune. So u will add the fuel on boost rather than by Throttle postion. Pretty cool trick I'm goin to try it out when I fix my car next week. I know a few people who have tried it and it made drive ability so much better too. ohh yeah got my 660cc on the way :D after 1,2,3,4 years I can step up.

Just wondering.... how much do each of the different stand alone systems cost?

I know AEM is ~$1600. Dunno about Apexi Power FC, the HKS one, Greddy? Emange, TEC III, Haltech?

I think EFI is about $2500, Motec was $6k, but I think it's down to $4k or something depending on what you get...

Hey Brandon, why not run the BB ecu or the GTIR ecu, it will control the timing better for turbo issues, plus with the AFC you are able to control up to 555 cc injectors/ 666 injectors with the GTIR ecu. I think you will see better numbers as well. Also if you want to control your timing you can use the Apex ITC, that is what I plan on running when I get back along with the AFC and GTIR ecu. Just make sure it's dyno tuned and not ass dyno ;) watch the EGTs and A/F ratios.

AEM dosen't make one for the SR20DE powered cars in the US, Apexi dosen't make one for the us powerd SR20DE cars, They have it for the RWD SR20DET $1,200.
HKS GCC is not sold in the usa $1000, there AFR thing I heard works good $400?
Emanage is piggy back system will work for the US cars $320-$450

TEC III will work great but its bling I think it' $2500 for the unit
Haltech is not as much bling $1100 but no Knock contol

It looks like an F-Max manifold, but that turbo looks awfully small to be a T3/T04 hybrid.

Well, I did say looks, as in, "could be visually mistaken for." First of all, the turbine is on top. This clearly rules out a Bluebird or GTi-R manifold. :p Next, see how the turbine is aligned with #3's spark plug instead of centered? This is also a trait I've seen on F-Max manifolds, but not on everyone else's.

calm down people. It's a T3/T4E the manifold is not a Fmax Log or a Log period. Protech made a manifold for him but it's not equal lenth.
