well I got the gti-r powerd b13 out today for a lil ride around the neighborhood .I drove it around for a min to warm it up just trying to work out the bugs , my hydrolic clutch set up is working perfectly , car is running great and driving good , still got a few lil tweaks here and there but all and all the car felt really road worthy . on the way back I decided to open her up. ( this is only about the 3 time it has rolled since the swap and the longest drive yet)I hit boost in 1st sent the tires in to a deep fried frenzy from about 4500 to 8700 rpm ,hit 2nd never came out of boost kept on spinning but pulling like a beast to 8700 lifted to shift to 3rd and the throttle was stuck wide open spinning, pulling to the right towards a pond at about 60 mph my first reaction was to turn the key off. I got out poped the hood everything looks normal except the throttle linkage where the cable goes in was at WOT and would not return. I tried pulling it back no go then prying it back no go. I walked about a mile back to my house got my truck and towed it back to the house pulled the intake off and there was a f ing air chuck stuck in the no 2 throttle body guess it has been there since it left the mother land , where I pried on the the linkage bent the butterfly a lil but a hammer and
3/8 extension fixed that . that was a first for me im just glad it was big enoughf that it coudnt go any further .

an air chuck is the end of the air hose bassicly , where your air tools would attach to the hose

so was i. i had one in the air box on my atv. im just happy he didnt chew through the k&n filter. i also picked up the stock pipe that had been laying outside and there was one in it. i was checking to see if there was a snake or spider in it and out flies this damn mouse. it scared the sh$t out of me.

Not trying to be an ass or anything, but did you even do a thorough check of the motor, before just throwing it in the car? Seems kinda risky to buy a motor, and just put it in the car and run it without checking it over in detail...

I'm pretty sure that if you were to be more detailed, you would have found the air chuck in the TB.

Hell yeah I would. I have a very low tolerance for fuck ups, and a very short fuse. I would literally ignite the car with gasoline, if the damn motor went in without a hitch, only to not turn over, or something cause the motor to just die.

It makes PERFECT sense, to go over the motor while it's out of the bay. Change gaskets, oil, etc.

I knew Europeans were inventive, but a compressed air feed to the intake is really a crazy substitute for turbo.
