For the air/fuel, the purple goes to the white wire on the o2 sensor, the other 2 are power and ground.

Here is what I did when I put in my ghetto 2" tach. I pulled the dimmer out and I tapped off the red wire with a yellow stripe with a silver dot and this is the one I hooked the ground wire from the tach light up to. Then I tapped off the red wire with a blue stripe and to this I hooked up the positive wire for the tach light. The way the dimmer works is that it controls the voltage by restricting ground. Now remember that my car is an XE so I don't know for sure if your wires will be the same color. Hope this helps though.

Your shift light is probably red to keyed positive, black to ground and green is the tach sensing wire. How it hooks up to your tach and knows at what rpm it is supposed to turn on I have no idea. My tach had red, black and green wires. Didn't these meters come with instructions? I'm guessing that there is a potentiometer or something on the shift light that you adjust depending on at what RPM you want it to come on at. I also assume that there is a switch to select the number of cylinders the engine has.

EDIT:

Well I looked around on the inernet about shift lights and the general concensus seems to be that the wiring is as I speculated and that there should be means to adjust the shift light turn on point as well as cylinder number.
