So heres the deal, my front engine mount is busted on my 95 g20. One service center said they can get the mount for $200 and then they would charge me $60 for the service. I think thats a little ridiculous. Couldnt i just buy a new bushing instead of a brand new mount? Please let me know if you guys think this is a good price or not and if anyone knows different places where i could get a better deal. Thanks alot.

drop the x-member and get some 9mm window weld..gook it up as best as poss..let her dry overnight and ur done..in the meantime order a new mount from pat @ custom steel

i think by front mount they are talking about the front of the engine, the mount on the right side of the car. Its a liquid filled mount and it also fairly common to fail. Its expensive because its a liquid filled mount. you can get them a little cheaper from your local parts slinger but not much cheaper.
