i know some of yall went out shopping for some speakers, and the sales dude told you they are 4x6, so then you buy them and........

theres a way to make them fit you can also put 6.5 on there but i kept the 4x6 to do this experiment...

1st cut the old speaker off like the picture.... trim it off.

as you can see the 4x6 wont fit, it will, if u leave them saggn'. with one screw:rofl:

I don't think i have ever seen those speaker baffles. I know my b13 when i had it didn't have those funny looking things. And it had OEM speakers.

Good idea *** none the less.

Those brackets don't look OEM. At least, that's not what I have in my NX. My brackets took standard Pioneer 4x6 speakers, without modification.

i also took a look at my sentra E and yes, the bracket is the same....we put in 6.5 on that one...

i put a 6.5" speaker up front also; in a b14 but the door looks the same on the inside.
