I never understood the signatures that some people use. You get people putting cars in their signatures that a) they have sold, b) they have wrecked or c) owned by their wife, gf, or parents.

If you sold the car, then it does not belong to you. If your car is wrecked, then it is in the junkyard or being recylced inot another car. Then why the hell would you put it in your signature.

If I did that my signature would be a mile long. This is a pet peeve of mine. Does it piss you off too?

Somewhat to a certain level but not major. I do hate people that have large pictures and list all of their mods though, now that bothers the hell out of me.

Actually, i have a DSL connection and I am still pissed by it. Here is what my signature would look like:

76 Buick Skyhawk (sold)
78 Renault 17 GTS (wrecked)
78 Renault 15 (sold)
76 Chevy Chevette (sold)
81 Fiat Argenta (sold)
90 Toyota Tercel (wrecked)
94 Toyota Tercel (sold)

And that is excluding family and GF cars as well as current cars. I just find this practice absurd

1998 S14 Silvia ( My wife car)
1995 GTIR Pulsar ( My sister car)
1991 R33 Skyline ( Wrecked) RIP

I don't let petty things like sigs piss me off.

It's just a signature...it's only a forum on the internet...

What kinda gets to me is when one person replies a lot in one thread, and they feel its necessary to include their sig with a picture in every post. I think one time is good enough, then every post after that, remove the sig. Just one of my pet peeves :D

Agreed.

I just started including some of my mods to my sig, since I had people asking what all I had done.

the only reason i have my wrecked 92 sentra in my sig is because it meant SO much to me. it was my first car and i did get some nice long stares from it. so, it was a 1.6 automatic; it was still pimp.

Why dont the moderators make us decide if we want the pic to be in our reply on every post.
Instead its already checked and we have to uncheck it.

I probly show a sig in every reply. But if I remember to uncheck the "show sig" box, then I uncheck it.

Why not just show your sig once a month.

I think it just becomes part of the member to include it in every reply.

I dont care.

We're all different.

Thank you!!

You can actually size down the font on your sig by doing the same thing([ SIZE=1]thing[ /SIZE]) as in a post. (just remove the spaces)

sig? whats a sig? :p

Really now. whats the point of listing every mod you have? If somebody wants to know, they'll ask.

I hate excessive signature blocks in message forums, but the ones here have gotten better.

Check out this gem from a Corvette forum:

I think signature size has a lot to do with penis envy. :D

He's trying to make up for the lack of a 6-speed tranny in his vette. :D Poor guy spent all that money on a vette and got an auto. Tsk Tsk Tsk, it just ain't right. I'd certainly take a vette with any tranny over no vette at all, but If I'm buying one, you'd bet there'd be a manual tranny in it. :)
