I'm getting the ground control coilovers in a week or two. I was wondering what spring rates people are using? I'm going to keep it lowered about 2". Any issues with bottoming out, scraping front/rear, greddy sp smackin' the pavement? I plan on using KYB AGX adjustables. tia, Scott

p.s. will be rolling on O.Z. Superleggera Corsa's. Gettin em at the same time

I use 350 front 300 rear spring rates. Very happy with it so far. 2" is too low. If you insist on lowering it that much get the Motivational or SHigspeed rear upper mounts and the GC camber plates. ALso, when buying your AGX's buy the B13 front agx's as they are about an 1" shorter and allow more travel. I have this setup on my B14 and I'm very happy with it for the $$$!

How's the ride with the 350F 300R ratings? My NX Eibachs are rated at 160 F/R and they are ok. My GAB shocks are too much for them though so I am thinking about adjustables also. I agree, 2" is too low. 1.5" is the lowest I ever recomend.

To be honest the ride is firm but I love it. I previously had the Eibach Sportline AGX combo and this rides SOOOO much better it's not even funny. Much of it is because I restored almost all of the stock suspension travel, the rest I attribute to the firmness of the springs. I am extremely pleased!

i run the 350/300s and I love them as well. Then again, i auto-x and road race quite a bit and I want the stiffer springs. I am running AGXs and with them set on 1 and 1 (F&R) the ride is not bad, and this is on 16s with 205/45s........

and, with the GCs, you can give your car an equal drop, i ran toCRAPos (aka tokicos) with pro-lines and the front always sat higher. The GC/AGX is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!

For a street car, do 300/200 like most others. iF you race and auto-x go with what me and wes have. You wont regret it! :)

Thanks guys. I don't plan on doing any auto-x or dragging so 300/200 should do just fine.

Thanks blokes. I think I may go with the street setup. Not sure yet. I use to Auto-X all the time, but NX chassis don't like it too much. Had to weld in a second frame under the car. So anyone know if H&R makes a adjustable spring kit for our cars? They really do have outstanding quality control. :)

I have one question to ask u guys.

Does the AGX shock for spings fit the Coilovers, or they are the same shocks.

Cause someone told me that coilovers use different shocks than springs

they are the same strut...you just have to grind a little bit of the strut body metal collar...to allow the threaded sleeve to slide over it.
