I see that you have been an SR20Forum Member for over six (6) months. Have you done a simple Search on this topic?

This thread will answer your questions in full:

http://www.sr20forum.com/driveline-transmission/170794-b13-b14-b15-suspension-information.html

Not only do the Tiens suck. They are the worst possible springs you could buy for your B14. Thee absolute worst.

I'm glad you asked before purchasing, next time a quick Search before starting a brand new thread wouldn't hurt.

If you are having trouble SEARCHing, this should help:

http://www.sr20forum.com/new-members/149841-search-tips-hjbarker-crew.html

If you read that thread, and practice a bit, you will have no trouble finding your information. Quickly and efficiently.

Here's how easy it is:

1. Advanced Search

2. "tien" into the subject field

3. Search Main Forums only.

4. Search Thread Titles only.

5. Find three (3) pages of threads in milliseconds.

This is the fifth thread down on the page:

http://www.sr20forum.com/general-sr20/184553-tein-s-techs.html

That thread answers your question in full.

That took me about two minutes, including writing that out for you.

He's pretty new. I thought that was a reasonable answer. Fair, helpful, provided two threads, and demonstrated a skill-set that he should learn.

Plus, I gave him the link directly to Page 1.....just to be helpful. :D

Get the tein basic instead, you'll be much happier:biggthump

First, do your research. I just completed a CSK/GC upgrade and it's great. (Thanks for all the great info, Steve.) Second, let me tell you that I had my car for a year with S-techs and the person I bought the car from put them on probably two years prior to that. When I took my front suspension apart 2 weeks ago, the left strut bearing was completely shattered in between the top and the strut mount. Blown to pieces. I would post pics but am not allowed to, but take my word that you do not want these springs. My car looked good but rode like garbage, and I'm probably lucky that nothing else broke. You will hate yourself.
