I have a 95 200 ser, looking to buy all new tires in a couple of weeks. I want 225/50/15, but will these fit on my stock rims without rubbing, if not what's the widest I can go. Thanks

working at a tire store, I can tell you that 225s will "fit", but they're too tall. The best size(s) you can go w/ are 205/50/15 or the 215/50/15 (which happens to be the exact same height as the OEM tire).

ya, I am running the 225-50s on my car, and they are hella tall :) but nice and wide though :)

pardon me for seeming so rude but what do you need 225's for? Drag? If this is your street tyre and/or auto-x you don't need to go any wider than 205 or 215 Remember your off-set and alignment as well

I would also like to know what you can cram under there. I will be running stock suspention but want a tire to fill the well up more. I will also be going turbo and Taller is better with turbo cars. How much taller is the 225-50 over stock?
