It cost him about $150 I think, a local guy thats a friend of a friend did it.... We saw no warping and he took his time and used some kinda clay in the holes around the welded area to soak up the heat... anyways hopefully money well spent...
Just got word the JWT ecu is on its way!!!!!!!

Brian

TUNED200 06-24-2002, 05:19 PM eric96ser, how much did it cost you? mine was 145, and i wonder if yours having the other side filled it helps any?
Brian
se-r sam 06-24-2002, 05:26 PM That is how I thought they were supposed to be welded.
Anybody got pics of another way?
eric96ser 06-24-2002, 05:34 PM A guy I work with welded it for me for free. It wasn't a pretty weld, because he ran out wire, but no one sees it, and it was free. Can't complain.
Jackson Diamond 06-24-2002, 08:04 PM Looking at the pics, why couldent you just fill that part in with JB weld? It would be alot cheaper....
JB weld wont work. It cant substitute welding
muleman 06-26-2002, 10:02 PM jb weld does not penetrate the metal like welding does. Just filling in the whole's is not worth your time . JGY welds case for like 50$
