Sigh... Times are hard, and I've hit a major financial dilemma... So as a result I'm selling all my hoarded parts... It's sad to say but I have to.

Description
For sale I have a Very Mint Hotshot Generation 5 Header... it has virtually no rust and is relatively new condition. All of the ceramic coating is still intact and any minor blemishes are from handling. There are NO cracks. The car that it was on was stored for 3 years. The flex pipe is PERFECT, and the flanges are perfect. There are no rust spots. I was planning on saving this header and just keeping it because its now a collectors item since Hotshot is no longer selling items, but I've hit a point where I need to decide what is more important...

This is NOT an SSAC header... if you want an SSAC header, get one on eBay... Even though I am a huge fan of SSAC (I have one) I can appreciate the history behind this header. It is a Genuine Hotshot Header, and the insignia is clearly posted on the primary flange, so this is not a scam. From what I can find, when these headers came out they retailed for over $400. Now considering the immaculate condition this one is in and its age... I am asking for a little over half of that... :(

Price is $200 Shipped

Please be respectful of the sale, as I would be in your sale, because it hurts me to get rid of this one.

Pictures

I got a little dirt smeared on the #2 and 3 primary from handling it and other parts I was taking pictures of... but it can be cleaned (sorry I'm anal).

Yes sir... This header will work on any fwd sr20 motor. It will bolt up to the ve. The secondary measures appoximately 2" inner diameter.

Thank you for your inquiry

so, after the flex its not even on 2"? and btw it was made originaly for a DE engine??
its because if it wasnt made originally for a ve engine it does not fit perfectly, its like u have to port the header a little i guess

thanks alot

The header is made for the sr20 and it has a 2" secondary.... the ve has larger intake ports but I'm not sure about the exhaust ports as I don't own one... so I'm not positive.

dude carlitos, relax, he is parting with an object that he loves, and if u knew the answer to the question u asked, then my advice would of been to reword the question and asked, is it ported for a ve, since u already knew that a regular de header has to be ported for a ve instead of going through this whole thing.. just relax

I could be interested in the SSAC you ordered, then you could get his Hotshot

Is the SSAC the 2.5 or the 2" downpipe ?

Yessir in Cinci, a little outside of downtown. Definitely, I encourage you to come out to see it...

I'll bring it and we can meet somewhere if you would like. Seeing it in person would be better, and I would love to do a local deal. Let me know.

I'll pm you my number. Where will you be coming from? if its far I can take a little off for your gas.

I`ve had one of these for a couple of yrs and can`t say how good they are.

I was tempted by a 2.5" SSAC header a few weeks ago. Yes they have bigger primaries, secondaries etc but also have lots of internal weld splatter and many rough areas to slow gas escape.....then the downpipe wouldn`t seal on the header :( ......so i put my trusty HS back. :)

End of story. Free bump.

Cool, going to spread the word on this one. Wasn't there some dyno testing that showed the hotshot gen 5 out powered the ssauto with 2" or was it the 2.5"? The ssauto had some weird dip in torque that the hotshot didnt...cant remember.
