:D What would be a reasonable price for a 1991 Classic? The car has some slight damage to the rear passenger quater. It also has a HKS exhaust, WAI, Pro-kits and Tokicos, short shifter, ES motor and tranny mounts, 1 owner and babied since new.

I just bought a 92 with from a second owner for $2200. The car has 86,000 miles, but a has some dents and bad headliner. Car is all stock too, no aftermarket parts. I bought it from a girl who probably didn't know much about it (it being a hard to find car).

I have seen good looking classic se-r's for sale in the Autotrader for as much as $4500 - $5000 with well over 100k.

how many miles does this thing have on it?

Assuming it has over 100k I would say $2700-$3000

With the damage, Id have to say more like $2000.

I bought my '91 SE-R for $2,000. Sunroof, AC, no cruise. It needed some TLC because the shocks were toast. but otherwise it was OK before I started to scrape paint with it. ;)

:D The car has 167K miles but the engine feels stronger than my 1992 and that one only has 106K! No sunroof or ABS. The guy showed me all the maintenance records since day one and it looked like he took good care of it. He did replace the motor mounts couple of times until he decided to get the ES units.

with no sunroof and no abs, what is it, a regular sentra man. with damage I wouldn't look for anything over 2200.

Price would depend mostly on the condition of the car. I think it's safe to say that the majority of the SE-Rs you will check out will be in fair shape (or worse). I mean, it's tough to find one in good condition since the car is like over 10 years old!

Spend a little more to find one that is clean :)

Get one for around $2000 and swap in a primera motor. Or a turbo one. Just make sure the chassis is good, no rust, previous damage, etc. Look at the condenser, in the trunk, under the car for any overspray from a bodyshop. Start with a good base, and go from there.
