It's a daily driver and is really starting to eat oil. Looking for a stable option and wanting to get a bit more than just the same old motor. Since this ECU is a pain and the RR motor has its limitations, I'm wondering if I can/should go highport, VE, DET. I'd like something that doesn't require much wideband tuning since support around here is rare, maybe Coach can point me in the right direction there. I can spend about $2K and around 7 days continuous, have plenty of tools and can move them to a garage with room if the weather is crappy.

if only 2K i'd say VE with calum ECU and reworked wire harness

That's something I was looking into several months ago. I'd probably need to run the VE of my current ECU/MAF/injectors until I could get more time to wire the harness. That's a contender as long as Calum can tune the ECU for my setup and I didn't need a dyno run.

Looks like he can provide the ECU and B14 harness adapter. OBII is good I assume because the 20VE is as well?

Man, had the S3rs and POP charger on the way, had to turn the order around. Lost about a quart in 50-100 miles.
