The foam on the top half about middle way my drivers side seat, the right side bolster is torn about 4 inches in the middle. This allows the seat frame to rub against my back because the foam collapses at the tear. I have no idea when this happened or why but I noticed it this weekend and pulled the seat cover up to have a look tonight.

Have any of you had this problem? What did you do about it? Replace the foam? I wonder what could 'mend' the foam back together at the tear point while still being soft.

Any ideas welcome. Thanks.

I have the same problem. I'm gonna take it to an upholstery place and see how much they would charge to re-do the whole seat with stiffer foam. Maybe like the ones the classic's have.
