DONT BUY STILLEN! AEBS makes 4-1 headers and my friend said that they are the best. however that was before hotshot came out with the 5th gen header. Im not sure if AEBS makes the headers anymore. The only problem with AEBS header is that it hangs low so you gotta watch out or else you'll ding up the piping.

I don't know if ABS fix the problem they have before, the ABS header is the best one around if they don't crack.

AEBS doesn't make the header anymore. I have one and it is cracked BADLY. In the next couple of weeks I am removing it and cutting off the cracked collector and replacing it with one from burns stainless or hy-tech exhaust.

Which 4-1 header that is in production....well, that would probably have to be the stillen...because its pretty much the only one thats still in production for our cars thats a 4-1 unit. However, if you want the best header for the sr20, then go with the 5th gen hotshot. You cannot go wrong with that, and it does make more power then the stillen unit.

I agree with the majority here, either go with the gen 5 hotshot or find an AEBS header. i have the AEBS and it is a beautiful unit. the power is felt throughout the power band. i was skeptical at first as I bought it used, but once I got it on I knew it was a good buy.

I have the AEBS 4-1 header and it kicks arse. I love it. The only bad thing is that it's LOUD and it hangs pretty low. Mine is dented underneath but it's taken a huge beating and never cracked. I didn't know that they stopped making it. Too bad, I'd want to get another one to replace my dented unit one day.

i have never heard of any cracking problems on the AEBS unit. maybe its from being smacked against a speed bump

Mine has 2 small dents that have been there since the day after I installed it (hit a chunk of ice that fell off a semi truck). The cracks are in the collector its self about 18 inches from the dents.

Dude, "shoe" formerly "slipper" is a complete idiot! dont listen to anything he says. He comes off as being shady and sneaky, and not to mention in this thread a "know it all". He made threats to me all the way in hawaii when im in massachetts(tough guy). He also knows Muai thai...and so does van damm lol(he watches a lot of kickboxer). plain and simple "shoe" you are a fag!!! and thats all i have to say about that.

Also just to let you know TREYDEE , "Subculture" from this forum dynoed the new HS gen 5 header and made 10 hp over the stillen crappola piece!!!

You know if I had the time and resources, I would do this myself... But there should definitely be a new header comparison. The one that was performed by SCC a few years ago (on Chris Pinthong's NX2000) is sort of out of date. The AEBS header now comes with an EGR fitting, and The Hotshot header is now on its 5th revision (SCC tested the 3rd revision). Oh well... Wishful thinking, I guess.
