Are the springs in the frontthe more narrow ones, while the one in the back are more "fat"?

other way around the larger diameter ones go in the front

Yup yup yup - the weight bias is about 60/40 at least in the B13; the heavier (thicker 'wire') units go up front. They're typically a bit shorter too.
