will the GTI-R ecu work on the bluebird motor. A couple of guys down at sr20development told me that it wouldn't and i heard those guys are kinda suspect. so i wanted to see what the real peeps thought......

They do know their shit there. And IMO, they are right. It won't work. The GTI-R uses 440cc injectors while the Bluebird uses 370cc injectors. If you still insist on using that ECU, then be my guest.

If you use the 444cc injectors from the GTi-R as well as it's MAF sensor, I don't see why not. Both elements are critical, though, due to the core differences between the 'R injectors and every other injector Nissan ever (seemingly) used, not to mention the 'R MAF is larger thus flows differently. If you have all three (injectors, MAF, ECU), I'd say go for it.

ok
I used one this weekend.

ok so "Will it work?" Yes
Will it run good? NO
It'll run rich as hell. and wouldn't be a good idea.

We use it to see if the car would start cause we fried the other ecu. So we were testing.

Was that with stock MAF and 370cc injectors?

re: GTi-R injectors. OK i will let the cat out of the bag.

Resistors on injectors are NOTHING NEW for Nissan. Look at any 280Z fuel injected..... resistor pack. Pulsar NX ca16de and ca18de....... resistor pack. Draw your own conclusions.

Resistance value on 280Z 6 ohms
Resistance value on CA engines 6 ohms
Resitance value on GTi-R engine ??????????
