You should upgrade your Fuel Rail fuel injectors and fuel pump now. You can get a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump from Terry at FTF for 125.00 I believe he is out of fuel rails so you may want to find a used FTF Fuel rail or JWT rail somewhere. The FTF goes for 125 new. Injectors, Hmm depending on the amount of power you intend on making, Ben B is selling MSD style 50lb injectors for 65 each, as well as 75 pound injectors I believe for 85 each. Not a bad deal really. I would also suggest getting a fuel pressure regulator to up the pressure. Those can be had anywhere. Aeromotive makes a nice unit as does stealing and Paxton.

Actually, Jason G. Young is actually making rails for Terry now. You can go to http://www.jgycustoms.com and check 'em out.

BTW Mike, have you talked to your dad lately? I sent him some pics of my new project ;)

Hi, you will need more parts besides the fuel pump, fuel rail, and injectors. You will need a bigger MAF like(Cobra,300zxTT Q45) $ 120-175 and you will need JWT to reprogram your ECU $100 if you go with the Cobra MAF. I would get a electronic boost controler to $325-500. Hey if you don't have the money to do all this right now, just keep the boost at 7-8psi and you will be ok for now.

i just got my walbro fuel pump yesterday for 110 bucks. Is the jwt fuel rail better than the ftf rail or do they both do the same thing? As for these injectors, i dont really know too much about them in the way that i dont know which ones will support the horsepower i want which is somewhere above 280whp. So do u think im going to need the 50lb joints or the 72lb ones? i also want to buy a pair of cams for my birthday on july 5th. any suggestions for my bb det? I was reading somwhere on the forum that the jwt s3's are a good set up to run with a t3/t4 on the bb det. does anybody have any knowledge to kick about these like will i need valve springs/retainers and what to expect in the price

I talk to him every chance I get, but not recently. Care to let me in on the new project ? :D I'm still piece parts together for my classic, too bad I'm so deep into it right now. I would really like to go to the RWD relm.

from Andreas Miko. Can find it at http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10615&highlight=300zx+MAF

Well the statement up top is not quiet true. You can get a 370cc inj program for 4 bar and the cost is still the same as a regular comp. 370cc inj at 4 bar gives you about 285 HP and if you bore out the MAF to 54mm you can get a readable 280hp from the MAF.
If you had a GTIR MAF it reads up to 280 HP and if you bore it out it will have a readable limit of 305 HP.

Also for all the people who have bought Cobra MAFs the reason you have to pay xtra is because they have to add a Subtracter program to the ECU for the MAF to read above the 360 HP limit. If you had a 300zx MAF you would not have to pay for the subtracter program because the 300zx MAF can read 550 HP before it gets to its readable limit. The reason they do not tell you guys these things is because JWT wants to get rich off of everyones stupidity. If you were to use say a Q45 MAF it can read up to 700 HP before having to pay xtra for any silly subtracter program. So lets som it up.

370cc inj 3 bar comp GTIR or SE-R MAF $550-$600
370cc inj 4 bar comp GTIR or SE-R MAF bored 54mm $550-$600

50lb inj 3 bar comp Cobra MAF $550-$600
50lb inj 4 bar comp Cobra MAF $850-$900
72lb inj 3 bar comp Cobra MAF $850-$900
72lb inj 4 bar comp Cobra MAF $850-$900

50lb inj 3 bar or 4 bar 300ZX MAF $550-$600
72lb inj 3 bar or 4 bar 300ZX MAF $550-$600

50 lb inj 3bar or 4 bar Q45 MAF $550-$600
72lb inj 3 bar or 4 bar Q45 MAF $550-$600

NOW YOU KNOW AND IF YOU DONT KNOW YOU BETTER ASK SOMEBODY!!!
