LMFAO!!! Autotrader lists the curb weight at 3850 lbs!!!!
MSN Carpoint lists the '91 NX manual curb weight at 2472 lbs
My car has no interior, no carpets, no tar etc., Cobra fibreglass seats, the glass t-tops have been replaced with 24 gauge steel, it still has the air cond stuff, it has a full 1.75" 120 wall cage - it weighs 2552 lbs w/o occupants and with 1/4 tank of fuel. I had to stay under the "curb weight" in order to run in the class (P3) I run in - so I used 2472 as my target.
Anyone else know their weight?

Cjburn 06-26-2002, 12:04 PM I weighed my car at a Quad Graffics (they do most of the magazine printing in the Midwest) and they have a digital axle scale for their trucks. With a full interior, t-tops, AC,no cruise, ABS, or any power equipment it weighed 2550. This was without me in the car.
i got weighed 2660 with me in the car at the track
and i have my back striped out.
i have t tops, cruse, power window and doors, abs, and no a/c and i weigh 160
McCoy 06-26-2002, 12:32 PM I used a digital scale for grain trucks and weighed in at 2550 without driver.
When I weighed my car (1992 NX), it had a full tank of gas, full interior, tool box, spare tire, and a amp and sub box. The car has no ABS, no power windows/door locks, no cruise, no AC. But does have T-tops, drivers airbag, and power steering.
I have used this scale and a couple of others, and the 2550 +/- 10lbs seems to be correct for my car.

Da91NX 06-26-2002, 01:16 PM The bare model with t-tops should be about 2472, *** that is what DMV has them as, although mine currently has it at 2350.
Son Of Skyline 06-26-2002, 02:21 PM My NX2K weighs exactly as follows:
Left Front : 833lbs Right Front : 812lbs
Left Rear : 419lbs Right Rear : 370lbs
LF/RR crossweight : 49.4%
RF/LR crossweight : 50.4%
Front : 67.5% Bias
Rear : 32.5% Bias
Total weight including driver : 2434lbs
My NX is a hardtop (no T roofs), no A/C, no ABS, no airbags, does have power steering, power windows..etc. All interior panels behind the front seats removed including sound deadening. Everything in front of the front seats has been left alone including carpet. I'm positive that another 60-100lbs can be stripped from the car without making it uncomfortable to drive on a daily basis.
Kelway 06-26-2002, 05:47 PM I've not weighed in yet, but am currently stripping all the sound deadening stuff, supposedly good for 50lbs. I've got the rear area and rear seats done, now working under the front seats. Where else do I need to look for stuff to remove? Is there anything behind the door panels to remove (don't wanna take them off unnecesarily).
