Hi all

I need some info please... sadly its only a GA16DE injection nx... was going sr20 but had a accident, other party had no insurance so i had to claim and lost my NCBs so i decided to add a supercharger and its fully working, makes a nice difference to the GA16DE engine... BUT

Im taking the engine out hope to paint it and things and I want more power from the super charger... I thought Maybe if i added SR20de injections + fuel pump then i can get more fuel mixing into it but turns out it probably will blow up the head gasket as be too much power not to mention id have to source a manifold which could be expensive... so my question is do you think the injections and fuel pump would fit and be OK from the CA18DE engine that way more power but not too mad.. or any ideas are welcomed please

Could i get away with justr doing the injections and fuel pump.. then get a ECU over ride.. or would i probably need to do the pistons n stuff too:D

its eaton m30 or something i cant remember because my friend made it through his uni course... its on 0.3 and its giving out 33bhp... thats adding back the 8bhp power it looses by adding it lol I know this because i have graphs showing this.... somewhere... :(

wow, can you post some entire shots of the motor and the supercharger where it mounts etc etc.

i cant at the min as its off my car... etc and wont be on till i find out if i can put different injections n stuff in it.. as i want more power from her... I'd be happy with sr20de 145bhp or 150 there abouts, even more be great but not too mad!

why cant you boost more than .3 I'm sure the ga could handle it. I have one in my DD and it is a pretty strong little motor.

yeah more pics please, i think you would make a lot of ga16 owners very happy.

That's crazy.. you could push maybe twice the boost you are currently running* and still be under the stock injector limit.. anymore than that though and you're pushing your luck. There'd be no need then for an ECU/injectors/MAF, at least just yet.

I just realized what I was looking at.. you're using MAP? Or what is that sensor coming off the intake pipe?

*I was thinking on SR terms..

Ok, what you need is an ECU program or AFC for some bigger injectors and some proper tuning along with a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. Then you need more boost!!!

I wont be posting pics up till its finished and back on the car!! My friend has it at the mo anyways making me a stronger bracket

I'm only running the 0.3psi *** that's what the professor said, not to run any more as didn't think the engine could handle it... just saying what he said.. ill prob push it more anyway but first of all i want uprate the injections and fuel pump (obviously need an ecu afterwards) so i gain even more power from it but can i do this before pistons etc or would i need to uprate the pistons any ideas on what iv been looking at jim wolf + flebay are haven't a clue which ones.... Would injections from the sr20 be too much fuel for it, or do you reckon i should go from a CA18 as still be a lot of fuel mixing but not to heavy etc

I did say this but from what engine??

How would injectors from the sr20de be too much for it? I would go with something bigger, like 370cc injectors from the sr20det or 300zx. Get a wideband o2 sensor and something to tune with, and you will not need any internal work until way over 200whp.

Ey.

The GA16 can handle much more, i had a ga16det with a turbo on 0.6 bar (about 8 psi) I had it for 25000 kilometers, i ssold it and its stil running. isn't the fuel pump the same is a sr20? With my primera it's the same. The injectors wont fitt the ga16 fuelrail. I had sr20 injectors for my ga16 fron a sr20 and the rail is to wide. The sr20 injectors also wont fitt the ga16 rail. You have to mod the sr20 rail, because the european intakemanifold is differend from a us ga16.

Sorry for my crappy englisch but i'm dutch:tongue:

Thats what I was wondering, if the injectors from an sr20 would even fit. There are still options for injectors though, such as an aftermarket fuel rail and injectors
