So my nx has 130,000km (81,000miles) I watch the oil level extremely close, I've noticed it ?burns? a litre of oil in about a 5 week period, anyone else have this? It doesn't drip out onto the pavement and the bottom of the engine is clean. Also we have fairly strict aircare in Vancouver here and it passed in Feb. (when we bought it)

awwww the missing oil syndrome :D
its common some of the oil is trapped in side the block do a engine flush might help it a bit.

wats up man. just wanted to know if you check your oil level all the time? Cause if you do your just confusing your self man. if you have any blue smoke coming out of your tail pipe that means your burning oil. but it is normal for a car to burn 1 qt of oil every thousand miles. so dont worry if you lost around 2 qt of oil in three months. if you really want to check if your burning oil remove one of your spark plugs and check if its fouled. see if theres black shit all over it. but the easit way is to see what color your exhaust smoke is.;) laters

Try a thicker weight oil, (ie: 20w-50) see if that cuts down the oil burning. This is fix works, but is only a band-aid to to your high oil consumption.
