Maybe I will have my VE by then. If so I am in. Plus, I would like to see a comparison of my home made CAI to a regular.

Ah man why couldn't this be in August
I know my car probably won't be done by this time the way things are going with me. I want to dyno my car with the GTIRoids in it. Man this stinks

Rich, I'd love to throw mine up on a dyno. How much and for how many runs? Is this place a first rate shop? Got fans right? I need to look up Rosen on the map to see how far it is.

If I can have my clutch in, and broken in by then, I'll be there. It would make a great birthday present for myself. I'll know more in a week or so.

about $25 a run. but eric (the owner) usually will gimme 2 for 1. is rosen a first rate shop? well, normally i'd direct you to their website and let you make your own decision. but it looks as though it's down for the time being. readers digest version of their site: eric has been autoxing se-rs for several years. they have a se-r racecar you can rent and they are a full tuner shop complete w/ dyno, parts you wanna own and 2 bays (1 lift) for repairs/mods. yes, they have fans, i'm one of them..oh you mean fans for cooling ;) ...yep they have those. it's prolly about 2 hours from you.

wow, it was $20 a pull the first time we did the dyno day...darn inflation.. :-)

funny, i was hanging out with eric both days this weekend at the hyper-rice fest at summit point and there was no mention of it. sounds good though, i should be down.

ya know, i just thought of somthing. this is a REALLY bad weekend for this, and i probably wont be able to go.
the ALMS DC stuff starts on the 19th. 3 days of road racing action in DC for the DC grand prix! so, i probably wont be at rosen for the dyno day. now, if you wanted to make it the NEXT weekend... :-)

so long as they understand 99.se.ltd and i are there for some serious test 'n dyno action. i don't mind being in the compnay of car enthusiasts, it was actually kinda cool hanging out w/ other nissan tuners.

Rosen Autosports...huh...what a joke.....where do i begin........

I was quoted a price and charged something way, way, way, different. i asked for a ACT Stage 3 clutch and they put in a B13 Sachs clutch used for road racing (mind you i have a GTi-R SR20det not a stock SR20) and they didn't even tell me that they put that clutch in. when i blew that clutch up they made me pay for it still even though i didn't ask for it and the labor to go with it. then they wouldn't even put my new clutch in for free considering they know that they were in the wrong. then the flywheel. they had supposedly lightned the stock flywheel and when i took everything apart to inspect during my latest rebuild/project i found a stock flywheel. i asked and they said the flywheel that they had lightned was cracked and so they put a stock one back in and did not lighten it or tell me that is was cracked. they messed up my interior and expected me to fix it which i did. they had turned my boost way to high saying that a 13 to 1 ratio was just fine when i talked to several other turbo owners and they said it should be way closer to 12 to1. then the timing. they had my timing retarded at 13 degrees which it should have been at 15 degrees. i could go on but let me talk about my friends car and the shit that they did wrong to it.

he had a supercharger put into his civic. they "forgot" to put on the injector o rings fuel on one of the injector which lead to noticable fuel leaking. they forgot to tighten the alternator bolts. he was under the car changing the oil when he noticed the alternator bolts just hanging there.

WOW!! That doesn't sound good. It doesn't sound right either
They seem to pay close attention to detial. Of couse I've only dynoed so I'm just going by what I've read and heard from others. Maybe they had some new jack working on the cars. It's good you gave us a heads up though.
