i just bought a CSF HD Radiator all steel with a 2 Core 1 1/4 inch thick core... since the radiator has the inlets For the Auto Tranny cooler, can the Tranny Cooler be used As an oil Cooler??? has anybody tried this??

i wouldnt suggest it because of the size of the inlets........the pressure would be to high and would travel threw the cooler to fast. this is why real oil coolers are rather large. they slow down the flow inside the cooler and this allows better cooling.

however i have thought about useing the auto tranny cooler to cool off the water for a turbo setup. the water lines for the turbo normally comes of the head (very hot) and it would make sence to cool it down to the radiator temps.
