just changed the fuel filter but the part number for the new one isnt the same as the old one...will it have any kind of effect ? i just changed my air filter also...so now with changing both of these things my car has become slower..any ideas why ?

old filter:F1092 stamped on top of filter
new filter:16400-V2700

the filters are the same size on the outside...the gas in the old filter was literally black ehhhhh...

can having a filter thats more restrictive really have that much of an effect ?

the car wont kickdown like before, not as sharp...

ok turns out it was the air filter..i put my old one back in (good thing i saved it)...if you come across the brand -"Full _Element"
