Short of posting a racing story I don't know how to phrase this. How about this. What are the chances of a 5 speed 1.6 B13 against an old school Eclipse GSX (early 90's)? They're better than you'd think, certainly better than I thought. I'm thinking the GSX would have to not be making much boost or that the driver wouldn't be shifting very well, or some other factor.

Unmodified stock GSX is about a 15.0 in the 1/4 mile. 1.6 sentra nowhere close. Maybe he wasn't trying.

That's what I'm thinking. Beside that, I ran my first 1/4 mile with my G-Tech the other day and I ran an 18 flat at 81 MPH with the air on and I'd been driving for a half an hour before I ran that. I'm thinking at best I might run a mid 17 under better conditions and with my air turned off, but I'm not expecting much.

Yea like 2wd blazer said, those things are pretty quick. However, an unkempt one will run mid to high 16s like a GSX of the genre u speak of did at Etown a few weeks back. It was a 5 speed too....I guess the turbo was shot....and probably the rest of the car too.

Now bro, just *** i beat that GSX at the track by almost a half second doesnt mean the car was shot... :D Ok ok, something was wrong with it.

I'm thinking it wasn't a GSX, I know the badging said turbo but considering he had some wheelspin in a parking lot previously, I seriously doubt he was AWD. It was dark and I couldn't read all of his badging that well.

Even a FWD runs about a 15 flat. My FWD Talon actually ran a 14.7 in stock form.
