does any one *** a easy way to take out the sr20det starter, cause when i look under the car today i could only c one starter bolt and i dont *** where the other one is.

Starter bolts are on top.

yea but u cant c the starter from the top u have to get under the car to take it out i think? do i have to remove any thing from the car to get to the starter

Remove the bolts on top, go underneath and pull the starter out. Helps if you have someone there when you put it back in.

how do u get the bolts of the top though, u cant even see the starter from top.

Bolts go through the transmission bell housing and screw into the starter. There are 2 14mm bolts you need to remove.

Its directly beneath the throttle body. Hard to see in there just feel around on the top side of the trans (your 14mm wont fit the trans bolt so you wont remove the wrong one) You should be able to feel the bump on the tranny where the head of the starter goes in. Then remove it from underneath.

I found it easiest to remove the air box first to get to the bolts. Saves alot of knuckles and easier to get to the bolts that way. Then all you do is go underneath and remove the starter. Good luck!
