I rear ended a Van a while ago, and I was looking at the different choices I had. I chose to get the Sunny front end for my Sentra.

I have to give a HUGE thanks to 93Blackbird for helping me out with getting this clip and for many other things. Your awesome man!:)

Sorry there arent a whole lot of pics, there was a bad storm outside so I had to take some really quick. I'll take more for people that would like to see them.

Looks good! How long did it take you to put on and how much was it? Nice and agressive looking... like the fog lamps, too.

Don't know if I'd want to rear end someone to get one, though.

Thanks man, Im working on suspension ;)

I got all the parts I needed for close to $800, But I also got a good paying job out of the accident, the person I hit is now my Manager.

It took about 2 weeks to get painted and mounted on.

Is that direct bolt-on, or was some custom work necessary? What about the wiring for the fogs?

TIA

The wiring isnt 100% finished yet, Ill PM you later on and tell you how it went though if you would like.

It is different from the US Sentra front end because the headlights are Different, they resemble an Infiniti G20 in the way that they are wired. The hardest part is going to be getting the Corner lights(next to fogs) to come on when they are suppost to.
The Sunny Front end also needs to use the 3mph Japanese bumper reinforcement instead of the 5mph bumper reinforcement. The 3mph reinforcement is VERY thin and light compared to the 5mph reinforcement.

Definitley post some more pics... especially when you have the lights wired. That's one of the few body upgrades I'd be willing to do... looks awesome.

One question though. With the 3mph vs 5mph bumper, will your insurance pay a claim if you're in another bender?

Yep, we could do that... I keep forgetting how many owners live in this area. Have you signed up to go to the Tampa meet on Saturday July 6th?

Yes, kinda, might still get one some day, just not now. I have other things I need to do first.

By the way James, the bumper looks bad ass, thumbs up.

What else did you get with it? If its the front alone the price seem alittle high to me (I can't get into an accident to help pay mine;) )

I love white classics (and black) and that front end so together they just look bad ass! Good job.

It came with the bumper reinforcement, bumper cover, fog lights, curb lights, turn signals, headlights, fillers, grill, core support, clean (about as brand new as you can get without buying brandnew) radiator, over flow bottle, two fans, and the two fender indicators.

I must say I was impressed and so was everyone that looked at it. It seems to be slightly lower, but that hasn't been confirmed. The wiring will be in a week seeing as I am on vaca. I am glad you are enjoying it James, don't hit anyone or I will kick your ass...lol. Its too stressful to be keeping tabs on your car while in the bodyshop..lol. I will see you guys on Mon July 8th, sorry won't be able to make it for the meet. I will be street racing in a Sentra in Cuba :D

The reason the wiring is coming last is that the headlights are now H4 with a "city light" in the housing P10 style just like james said. That also mean that the Turnsignals are not combos anymore, but instead are turn only. This requires a modified G20 turn signal plug. The fog lights are regular but the Curb lights are going to be new wiring. They come on with the turnsignal, but stay on constnat not blink. So you cannot just hook them up to the turnsignal wiring. Instead we must trace it back before the Flasher is what I was thinking. I will accept all other ideas as long as they keep one thing in mind. We want them to work in that fashion. I don't want the side one blinking..lol.

Also something else is that the bumper markers are gone now, which looks super clean. Makes me wanna change the rear bumper too.

And yes the bumper reinforcement might as well be there for looks..lol. I would just keep it in mind as you zoom up behind someone or are driving like an ass..lol

It looks great, weight savings is a big plus and you could use one set of the fog openings for brake cooling duct work. Does your new front end stick out less than the US version?
