OK heres the deal...

I was driving my car home going about 70 when I gun it to pass someone and about a minute after i do that the car starts to run rough like I'm running on 3 cylinders... I get home, and since it started raining later that night and thru the weekend, I let her sit 2 days... when I started her back up she ran fine.

3 days later I go to pass someone and same thing happens again, this time I let it sit then try to start it the next day... its still running rough, now after another day of sitting and after i finally have the time I take out the plugs and everythings looks fine.

When I went to start it after I checked the plugs, it ran rough for 2 seconds and died... I pumped the pedal a couple times to keep it running then after i let off it ran, but still poorly.

Now the cap and rotor were replaced 2 years ago, the plug wires are 1 1/2 years old genuine nissan parts and they look good.

Any Ideas? I'm trying to see what i can do without having to take her to the dealer

Hi, check the wire's on the MAF harness, while you are at it check all your wire's, for breaks, and shorts.

put your car on a scope and see what the coils doin i think its that.

do you have an external fuel filter or is it in the gas tank? if it's external, when was the last time it was changed? might be time.
