Well I had some bad luck the other day when my Hotshot header broke at the flexpipe. It literally broke off. Now while I am waiting to receive the replacement header I was wondering if it is okay to run the car without the exhaust being connected. I know alot of turbo cats run just the downpipe sometimes. What I am asking is whether there is a downfall to running the car with just the headers(the car is really loud and when shifting a loud backfire lets loose.)

Well since you are ODB1, being an NX and all, you will only have the noise problems you hear now and that's really about it. Maybe you might meet some nice Law Enforcement agents on the road :D and your power band might be shifted a little, but otherwise nothing to worry about. Oh, and don't breath too deep at stop lights as the exhaust is not the best thing for you. ;)

Yeah bro I know that sh*t is loud but I have the equallizer for the LAw enforcement I got a badge(officiers brother) And the header actually broke so I have the piece in the car. :D Thanks bro!!!

as long as the break is after the O2 sensor, your ok. How does it should????
