Get the JWT S4's

So that will work even if i dont have a turbo, I mean the motors rebuilt for high compression, and im planning on putting the bottle to it so im tryin to build up for the bottle,

JWT S3's or Brian Crower Stage 2's.

Yeah the BC stage 2's would be a good bolt on.

If you go with the stage 3's, you'll need to get their springs/retainers for it, too. And that's a job and a half - trust me I'm in the process of removing the springs/retainers/valves and putting in stage 3 BC cams with their valves/springs/retainers.

IF you plan on using the bottle, I'd suggest getting a larger exhaust cam. There is a section for Nitrous Oxide on the forum and it states that engine on the bottle like a larger exhaust cam. So if you go with JWT S3's, get an S4 for the exhaust.. but I think this might be more for a race application rather than a daily driver. What are you planning to have the car setup for??

Fast pro street, Like a 8 or 9 sec 1/4 mile daily driver

Go to the vendors section of the forum. Look under Slow Boy Racing. Last cam thread I saw of theirs, BC stage 2's were $225ish. 10 to 15 HP gain! The price to HP ratio is outta hand! I don't know if they will still honor that price but I'm sure they will be drastically cheaper than JWT S3's for the same amount of performance.

listen, not to knock the bc stage 2's but as far as any n/a dyno's i have seen they have dynoed poorly compared to s4's.

s4's all the way in my book unless you go with bc stage 3's. even though i have still yet to see a dyno sheet were the bcstg3's have out done the s4's. even though the specs on the bcstg3's would lead u to think different.

If you are gonna run staggered and looking for top end power, do solids, HKS step 3 264 in and 272 exh with BC springs and rets.

Why dont any of the FWD guys run HKS or anything besides JWT and now BC for the most part?

Well, I'm just coming at you with the perspective of a N/A owner who does not want to upgrade the the head in any such capacity. If you don't want to add springs and retainers then its JWT S3's or BC stage 2's. I cannot speak for JWT S4's or anything of the sort. I don't know what your plans are...... If you are thinking of going turbo, then that is a whole different story of which I know nothing about. Like Digital Underground says "Do what you like."

nah im not gonna turbo it, its built for high compression id have to reverse whats already been done and with the bottle id *** need a couple of things forged then get the fuel air ratio right then ill work from their

consider a HP intake cam.

Oh sweet so you are looking to get the most you can outta of a N/A motor. You must have much deeper pockets than me. I'm just a tight ass and try to get the most bang for the buck.

I've considered the HP intake cam install but I figure if I'm gonna go to the trouble to install a cam I might as well install a nice set of cams and realize a true performance gain above and beyond the 6 to 8 HP that my SE should already have.

Hell yeah, but nah my pockets aint deep at all, i *** want the best for my ride, Im not a mommy funded ride i gotta work for what im puttin on my ride, it wil prob take a month for me to get themoney right im *** trying to see what out there and whats best to go with, trying to get different opinons from people who have done it.

Just get a set of used S4's here on the forum and be done with it. IMO the BC's have not proven the power. Unfortunately nobody has done a good basline run before installing the BC's, but the people who have dynoed the BC's are not making the power they should be.

BTW, good luck with the 8 or 9 second 1/4 mile goal. You are going to need it.......
