This is quite possibly one of the cleanest and best preserved and maintained 240SX’s you will find. It has been maintained meticulously, pampered with the best car care products, received the best parts, and has had 99% of the work performed on it with the utmost care by myself. The car has not been smoked in and has been garage kept. This is a car that a true 240 enthusiast can genuinely appreciate. I planned on keeping this car for a very long time, therefore all the work I did on the car was meant to last for a long time. I encourage anyone who is interested, and can make it, to check out the car in person. I am certain it will stand up to the most scrupulous inspection.

Body
The body of the car is in superb shape and looks stunning. The only imperfections in the body are several small dings in a few spots. They are the unfortunate dings you get when other drivers’ neglect to open their doors with care. Yet, they aren’t very noticeable. The paint on the car is absolutely brilliant, only a couple tiny scratches around the front right headlight, which you wouldn’t notice unless you were looking for them, that’s it. I’ve received countless compliments on the body of the car. In keeping the car as clean as possible, I have made no modifications to the body of the car.

Interior
The interior is in excellent shape. There are no stains on the carpet or upholstery. The dash and interior panels are all in excellent condition, no cracks/bubbles/fading. The car has a full aftermarket sound system tuned for sound quality. The head-unit is top of the line and has a built in crossover as well as other tuning features. Aftermarket speakers and subwoofer offer a perfect balance of highs, mids, and lows. The E-Manage unit is hidden in the glove compartment and the brain boxes for the gauges are hidden in the fuse box. All wires are soldered where necessary, fused, organized, and well hidden. The head-unit has an independent power source and grounds.

Upgrades
The car recently received a Greddy turbo kit installed by myself. I performed all of the work myself, with some help from friends, over the course of a few weeks. Every part of the installation was performed meticulously. No corners were cut, no details overlooked. Every modification was performed with care and attention to detail. Since completion, everything has been tested, checked, adjusted where necessary. The car now runs without any issues. Engine management is handled by a Greddy E-manage unit, pre-tuned specifically for the setup. The exhaust system is full-stainless after the turbo pipe. A Greddy BOV is installed behind the bumper below the intake filter. This location is visible from the front of the car through the outside bumper inlets, the same as commonly seen on Toyota Supras. This position also allows for easy recirculation if desired. The intercooler was installed with the bumper reinforcement preserved (not common) to maintain safety and chassis rigidity. There is a custom built water sprayer system for the intercooler. An upgraded clutch holds the power well yet is very streetable (pedal pressure less that 20% over stock). The braking system has been upgraded with 300zx front brakes and master cylinder. The car has excellent stopping power with no fade. Please refer to the list of modifications to see all upgrades.

Mechanical Condition
Mechanically the car has been maintained meticulously. I use full-synthetic Mobil 1 oil every change and either a M1 or K&N filter every time. The transmission has Redline MT-90 in it. All fluids were always changed before recommended intervals. The car is running flawlessly, no overheating ever experienced, no major leaks, no issues. The transmission shifts well, no grinds or difficulty changing gears. The suspension is good; the ride is smooth yet firm and responsive. The car does not pull to either side.

Performance
The turbocharger has transformed the car into a whole other car. Low-end torque feels solid below boost levels (similar to stock). Full boost is achieved just above 3000RPM. Under boost the car is extremely torquey and a missile on the highway. Aggressive passing at 60MPH does not even require a downshift from 5th gear. The car was dyno’d recently at a dyno day and put down 286HP to the wheels and 289ft/lbs of torque. This was achieved on one pull, on a hot day, under the base tune. With further tuning I believe 300WHP can easily be achieved. The car has not been run at the track.

While I chose to keep the suspension stock to maintain drivability and because I don’t race the car on the track, the car is still a cornering machine. The combination of sticky tires, 205 wide in the front and 225 wide in the rear, and the car’s already good stock suspension yields great cornering ability. The wider tires in the rear offer a lot more grip and actually hold the power quite well. It also allows you to use more of the car’s power in corners when normally the car would oversteer heavily. Even with the wider rear tires the car’s torque will easily spin the tires all the way through second gear. On a damp road on a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd I’ve spun 3rd for a solid few seconds. I must also comment that the Yokohama tires perform very well in the rain.

Not only does the car perform well, it also sounds great. The exhaust note is very deep, never raspy (are any 240’s?), and is actually very quite when just cruising around. Under hard throttle the car really starts to sound mean. The big 2.4L has a nice growl under boost. The only thing that will overpower the sound of the exhaust under heavy throttle in the interior is the sound of the turbo spooling up. The large 20G turbo is incredibly loud, and sounds very similar to an airplane taking off when you’re inside, lol. I’ve heard people say that they hear the turbo more than anything when I speed by. The blow-off valve flutters normally but opens fully with a big “whoosh” under heavy boosting.

Gas Mileage & Drivability
For a performance car you would not expect to get very good gas mileage. But, this car actually does quite well. The number one factor is how you drive the car. Just cruising around town, not getting into boost, shifting under 3000RPM, the car’s gas mileage is pretty good. On the highway, once again, not boosting, keeping it under 80MPH, the car does very well. The E-manage is tuned so that the car will run properly lean under light throttle and no boost, yet nice and rich (appox. 8.1/1) under boost to make sure the engine is nice and safe. My estimates for fuel mileage under normal driving are about 18 city and 27 highway. The car will guzzle fuel if you boost constantly though. Repeatedly boosting on the highway, I’ve seen the car yield less than 18MPG in a 60 mile trip. But I guess I just always considered that to be the price of having fun.

Having driven the car quite a bit, both before and after turbocharging, I can say the car is very streetable. The clutch pedal pressure is light. The clutch disc is sporty yet the engagement can be as smooth as you want it to. The A/C is completely functional and blows nice and cold. Living in Florida I’ve used it quite a bit in the summer months. It doesn’t take too long for the A/C to cool down the small interior.

I'm new to this forum, am just about to sell my 350z for a daily driver and will be in need of a new toy. This car looks awesome! Price is high for me right now, but I do have a question; how many miles are on it? I'm trying to convince myself to take out a loan. :)
