: The answer to our engine management prayers??

After doing the bluebird swap and pretty much maxing out the BB injectors and stock maf, I have been looking for ways to upgrade. My problem is not locating the bigger maf, injectors, rail, etc.. But rather the fact that I have to send my ECU into JWT to have it re-programmed again. I am getting sick of having weeks of downtime waiting on other ppl.

Well last night after having a long chat with some of my supra buddies, I think I may of found the answer to my problems. The new Greddy E Manage. Basically it is a piggyback system that runs with the factory ecu, the cool thing about the e manage is it allows you to change injector size and maf size very easily! How easily you ask? Well to change the injector size you basically enter the "stock injector size" then enter the "new injector size" and the computer does everything else. The same goes for the maf, very simple to change.

Here is a screen shot on the injection screen.

Not to mention the data logging, 16x16 maps for injector direct drive, 2 sub injectors, ignition, etc. There is also a very good data logging feature.

And all this for $299.00!!!

I am placing my order today.

I don't think they made one for the FWD sr20 or the det ecu's as yet. If you really want to go crazy you should look at the AEM system. They don't have a special application for the sr20, but they do have a universal race unit that will work on the sr20.

299.99? Are you sure about that price? That sounds a little cheap...And thats for the Greddy E-Manage? Cause there are other that do the same job or better for like $1000, but maybe im incorrect. I very nice one that a few of my friends are getting ready to run is the Link Enigne managment system. anyways...sounds like a nice price if its right for that software!

This is what Ive been trying to convince my neighbor to buy over the JWT ecu (S13 SR20DET). His only problem, or atleast no one has ever answered it, is does the Emanage allow you to remove the 109 MPH governer?

Other than that, the price is awesome, and having no downtime is sweet also.

Would you be able to use this with the stock bbdet ecu??? or stock se-r ecu???......This is probally good if you already have the jwt ecu and looking to get it reprogrammed ..

what other options does this greddy e manage offer???...

I'm very interested in this device too! The thing I don't like about JWT is the downtime. Price is not a matter. I can't afford to watch my car stopped 2 months!

For the speed governor, bring your ECU to a good electronic technician with the maps of the ECU. Someone I know did this with his 240sx and the guy by-passed something and voilą! no more speed limit!

Anybody who has more detail about this program, write it here because I think many people would be interested in this program!

By the way, we do that with a computer and I suppose there's a special wire that plugs into our ECU?

From what I have learned from the yahoo egroup is that the emange alone is like a old school AFC, not the one with the blue screen but the box with the knobs on it. u can go +/- 25% for fuel only. U need the cable and software to take control of it's higher functions. U can add the greddy presure sensor to tune by boost rather than Throttle %. U can get everything u need for 400-500 I think. It can kill speed limiters too. u need a laptop to tune the emange with (duh)

You can melt pistons with a $5 boost controller.

Yes it is true you need the cable/software/laptop to program this unit. I should of mentioned that sooner. Yes you can pull the speed limiter off with it. Also it does control timing, fuel, addition injectors, it even has a "clamping" feature which allows you to run a 100% vented bov withour any problems.

I will let you guys know how it works on the beater.
