i need help. let me know your price to replace the wheel bearings on my b13. if it is reasonable enough, i'll have you do it. i will supply the parts. i am located in the south bay area (carson).
i hear popping, cracking noise when i turn the wheel to the left at low speed and even at dead stop. i just changed the control arm and asb bushings on both sides hoping to cure the problem, but it is still there. for what i read from searching, this sounds like a wheel bearing issue. i just don't have time to do this.

Sounds to me like axle boot problems and not a wheel bearings. Wheels bearings wobble like MAD at about 65 or so. Sometimes they smooth out around 85-90 but that is DANGEROUS. If they are grinding and cracking when you turn, it seems to be more of an axle problem to me. Check the boots for tears.

ok cool. i want to add that i just replaced the driver side cv boot over the weekend and i later found out that the passenger side is all torn up. thanks man.

anybody in socal/southbay area knows where to get the wheel bearings pressed in/out? i'm contemplating between getting new oem front wheel bearings alone or getting a used bearing/hub assy.
