I have a 96 SE-R that I through all the rocker arms and shims on. I am getting shims out of a donor engine. 8 slotted and 8 unslotted. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the slotted v. unslotted go?

One slotted and one unslotted under each rocker arm. I believe the slotted ones go on the left side of the arm if I remember correctly (looking from the outside of the engine in)
Plus I'm fairly sure that one side of the rocker arm will mate with the slotted one, and the other side won't. By the way the slotted ones are called rocker guides. The other ones are shims. :)
