i advanced my timing, without a light.... not much but enough to gain a nice amount of power... what does detonation sound like???

chances are, you wont hear detonation at WOT. dont chance it if you dont have the right tools, have a shop do it.

well i moved it a very little bit... how long does it take to get holes in the pistons?

What tools? All you need is a timing light and a 12mm ratchet.

ok..... im gona go over to the shop and have him set it to 18? and run 93 octane fuel.

I would go 19 or 20, but make sure you listen for pinging at first.

thanx! i have a full tank of 94 octane, im gona have it advanced to 19* and keep running some 93 in it!

I noticed a little bit more power between 17 and 19 degrees.
