After you hook up the signal wire make sure you test the solenoid before you hook the bottle up. I know a little Honda that didn't do this and it didn't fair so well. As you know the ZEX system activates at WOT, around 4.2 volts at your TPS. The TPS sensor contains three wires ground, reference and signal. The reference wire will put out 5 volts anytime the ignition is on, this means that the signal wire can never return more than 5 volts but the ECU will most likely never see more than 4.5. Anyways the guy with the Civic put the wire that activates the Nitrious at 4.2 volts to the reference wire (always running 5 volts instead of the signal wire which varies with throttle position). He was sitting at a stop light when he decided to engage the nitrous. He turned on the arm switch, since the ZEX control module was receiving the WOT voltage it began spraying and spraying and spraying and spraying filling up the intake manifold and then BOOM, rod goes out the side of the motor. Lesson of the story test the ZEX nitrous solenoid before you hook up the bottle. With the bottle off or disconnected turn your IGN to accessory. Turn on the arm switch, nothing should happen. Then floor the throttle with the car still off and you should hear the solenoid click. This means that you have done this part of the installation correctly.

There is no white wire on my tps. There is a black, yellow, and red blue one.

Is the yellow the middle? If so then thats it. tap it program it and check to see if the solenoid activates with the ignition in the on position, press the gas pedal all the way down and if you hear the solenoid click then you got it, and of course you must have the arming switch on too.

Take a pic of the tps and wires.
The reason I kept saying white is because my 91 se-r and my 95 maxima were both white, which lead me to think that all nissan's were the same.

oh and one more question is there two connectors or one? Because my maxima had 2 and one had similar colors your talking about.

thanks for the help guys, yes the yellow is the middle one, and there is only one connectors. I would take a pic but i cant find a camera but if you are looking at the sensor pluged in it goes black, yellow, pink blue.

also make sure the proper jets are in the kit I had a friend that forgot to put the jets in the lines and he ran a 1000 shot on his civic motor I'll never forget that day ever.
