His car is a 95 240sx with full interior (except for the carpet). He was running 12lbs (spiking at 15), with 24" slicks.

Also check out the run where he ran a 12.9X at 97mph. He was bouncing of the rev limiter and his car wouldnt shift into 5th.....Timeslips below..

Other than thats its a completely stock S13 SR20.
Heres a pic of the engine bay.....

Hey can you tell me what is your setup? I thought only a bigger turbo could lead us to the 12's.

PM me if you don't want to yell it on the forum!

Thanks!

I'm keen to get into the 12's in my FWD Pulsar with a stock DET with stock T25.

I ran a 13.7 totally stock, with absolutely no intercooling (had stock top mount with no venting at all) so more restriction than anything, interheater? hehe.

Car is currently having a nice front mount and ally pipes fitted. I'm keen on running it down as is, then runnning it down with 12 or 14psi boost.

.78 seconds is all it takes to get a 12 second pass.

Anyone think I can do it? I'm currently pulling 2sec flat 60' times with semi-slick street tyres (r-compound)

I guess its too hard to say, .8 seconds is a long time on the quarter!

Hi James, I think you can possibly get to the .78 secound goal you are looking for, but it may seem like a small amount, that is a lot to get, really. Back in the day when I use to race, damn .10ths where a big deal.........well good luck on your quest for speed. :)

well if thats a pic of your trunk on your signature, id suggest removing the subs when you make the run if you hadnt allready. that will DEFINATELY help

I'm far from the 12's, I can't even touch the 13's at 10psi. I don't know what happen. My boost gauge does read 10psi in the intake manifold so 10 psi should enter in the engine.

But I thought about something though: My engine idles at 1600 rpm or so ( I know I'll get it fixed this week). My vaccum gauge reads 16. So I definately have a leak somewhere. Could this be the cause of my poor times down the quarter?

First and only run @ 10 psi:
1/4: 14.592

Best run @ 7 psi:
1/4: 14.7**

What were the MPH on those runs? MPH a better indicator of how your car is/isn't running, compared to ET.

Fill us in.

Hrmm, my engine idles all over the place too! U12 bb engine. It also has a mean vac leak which i noticed sometimes when idle'ing, chasing, etc...

No I dont run with audio gear in the car. thats a fairly old picture actually too.

yeah it sure can hurt your time's, you need to check for leaks.

What size exhaust? stock?

djisnx2000

I'm front mounted (starion intercooler), 3" exhaust, with cat, resonator, muffler, all see-through designs.

I'm currently working on my intercooler (had to take off that **** bumper again!) to see if there's a leak there.

But what do you think about my trap speeds?
Way too slow? correct? Am I the worst driver in the place? I hope I'm a bad driver and my car is ok!
