Hi, to all . My first post.

On the sr20ve engine, are there any oxygen sensors built into the exhaust system?

If there are ,could you tell me how many, and where they are located. If there are some, do they often fail, and how do you know if they are not working efficiently.

Thanks.

There is 1 O2 sensor on most if not all sr20 motors. The VE has a 3 wire heated O2 sensor factory item is spec'd to be replaced around 80kkms or when it stops working!

You can run a diagnostics test and you should be receiving around 10 updates a second or you can measure the voltage! the voltage should range from 0-1.0V rapidly changing also!

If the voltage is stuck on say 0.07 or 0.32 and not moving you O2 sensor is stuffed

Thanks. Do you know if the sensor is near the exhaust manifold of near the cataylitic convertor?

depends what engine you have but it's on the secondary in the VE's (near the cat)
