Ok well I decided to get myself a set of the new Halo Projector lights. I went ahead and ordered the Gunmetal color. They claimed them to be Black. So I also went ahead and ordered the stealth corners from Nis-Knacks. (FINALLY) So the projectors arrive, and they're gunmetal. At least what they consider gunmetal. Basically they were one shade darker then blinging chrome. So within 5 minutes of having them out of the box, I start taking them apart. Pulled them apart, and went to town with mineral spirits hoping that they were like my Nis-Knacks projectors, black under the chrome. Nope It was just a yellow plastic. So I took a trip to the store, and got some high-gloss black spray paint. Schlapped about 5 coats on, and let them dry overnight. Got up this morning and began the install. VERY EASY! Same fit as my Nis-Knacks. So I put them on with my old corners since the new one's weren't here yet. Well then Mr. Postman showed up. BAM! Put it all together, and here it is... :D :cool:

I don't normally comment on headlights, but those look very nice. If they made a set for a Classic, I would actually consider them.

Thank you Greg. Coming from you that comment means a lot. I think the BMW conversion on classics looks just as nice.

I normally dont like 200sx projectors, but I must say, I agree; very nice.

Are the bulb housings larger than Nisnacks or something?

Your lights probably look way more "factory" that B13 BMWs. (We'll see when Im completely done fabbing things)

So do those lights have projector lenses or not? How do they light up the road compared to your old Nis Knack lights?

It looks real good. I think if you had a black grill I would look even better. But the Chrome grill still makes it stand out.

Ok well I just got back from a 2 hour drive, to the club and back. And let me say wow. I love these things. They put out a little more light then my Nis-Knacks. But they're not exactly projectors, like the Nis-Knacks. As far as the chrome grille goes, I'm trying to work on it. Don't know exactly what I'm going to do about it. And yes the housing holes are slightly bigger then the Nis-Knacks one's.

Did the "gunmetal" look all that bad?? I'm not really wanting to modify them if i get it.. not sure how it would look on my ride...
And how does the halo ring wire up and does it come on by itself??

Basically the gunmetal one's are just a darker shade of chrome. I wasn't trying to put another set of chrome lights on my car. I don't have any pics of them at night other then one I took with just the halos on. I have them wired to my running lights, but if you wanted you could easily put them on a switch.

I got the same questions on how the light works and lights up. ARE The halos different from the actual headlight or ***????

Would those fit on a G20? lol! jp
