Some of you guys own Subies so I'm throwing this out there... the Subaru with full exhaust (cept header) @ 50K miles started doing something weird at take-off... when driving normally and launching at 1100-1400rpms, the clutch pedal would pulsate and feel rough when the clutch was peak-under-load, like something wasn't getting oil/lubrication.

This would not occur while depressed or partially engaged. Take-off at 800-900rpms and it's not noticable. Taking off close to 2K and higher was no issue either.

Clutch fluid is fine, although the brake fluid was a bit below max so I topped that off since this thing has the hill holder clutch; the feature applies the brakes when standing uphill so that brake/clutch mess is all interconnected. Lugs are tight.

My usual driving style consists of launch at <1K, shifting out of 1st early, rev matching and ... a few spirited launches here and there though, but that's really about it... no clutch drops.

Some more relevant information... my buddy had it for 3 weeks since I moved to Philly since I didn't have room for it there yet; I figured out the parking situation, got it back this week, and it was doing this... but he is a trusted friend and not the type that would "experiment" with my car. Only one other cat touched my car in my absence, who took the FXT down the street to the gas station to fill up a gas can... I can't imagine that he caused any relevant damage in a matter of 5 mins.

Anyhow, I took a trip from Philly to Toronto this past weekend and she didn't act up much more than this issue I've described, so the symptoms have not gotten better or worse.
