Well, Ben Moses, Sakerocket(Nick) and Brock Stepen were the folks that made it out to Ben's place on Friday night. Ben M. and Nick worked to get the water pump sealed on Nick's car while Ben D. and I pulled my clutch out. My car has 76,000 miles and the clutch disc had a lot of wear left. Oh well, it was nice to have the JWT PP in there.

We also took some time and pulled the mounts on my car and Ben D's. The urethane worked well, but leaked out because the tape didn't stick well. I could still tell a difference on the way home though

We then hit the belts on my car and installed a new clutch cable. Ben adjusted my clutch and I had to take off for home. They dug into Brock Stepens car around 4:30pm to replace his clutch and do a drill and tap for the turbo. I am anxious to hear what came of that---wish I could have stayed but had something come up at home.

My impressions of my car? The JWT clutch feels nice. At first I wasn't sure. However, I am now happy after driving it for 350 miles home. The belts? Who knows--they needed replaced though, I know that! The best part of the weekend? The $6 shifter bushing. I thought people were over reacting to this mod. Oh my---it made the shifter fell SOOOOO much better. Each shift now "clicks" into each gate. The motor mounts? Felt a LOT less engine movement and hardly any vibration, if any at all.

Problems? Well we couldn't get one of the bolts back on the tranny that is next to the starter bolts. Should I be concerned? Well, Ben and Nick both indicated they didn't have theirs in their cars. I don't know---lets hope it doesn't cause a problem. Call me stupid, but if Nissan had it there I would think it should go back. Flip side of that coin is that there are two starter bolts right there that seem to make the bolt that is missing overkill. Not to mention that we tried even removing the tranny and shifting it around---STILL couldn't get the bolt to thread up. Oh well, I hope

Thanks again to Ben, Nick and Brock for all of your help. I wish I could have stuck around longer, but I really needed to get back.
