Not that hard to do but you will need to do some work with the Trans. If you get all the mounts it should just drop in. Also you would be better busing the throttle body from your car with the sensors and have your comp programed to run the motor.

We were talking about this the other night at the shop. Some guy with a spec V wanted to know if the Qr25de would fit in his G20. I think it can be done, with minor fabrication with the motor mount and maybe the lower fire wall to clear the block and tranni.

Andreas, do you think that it would run properly if you can get the Qr25de ecu and harnest or it's best to stick with the sr20's?

Use SR20DE Comp and Harness.

Tougher question: where are you going to get a QR25 in the first place? Not many in junk yards since the car just came out. Maybe you could find one from a wrecked 2002 2.5 Altima.

If you have the money and courage, do the QR25 swap. You'll be the first to do such a thing and make a name for yourself. :)

I've actually seen some posted for sale on eBay. Of course they are from wrecked cars.

Why would you want to do this swap in the first place---the sr20de is a way better motor and can handle more power with ease. The qr25 motor with those weak rings and stuff and with its open deck design cannot handle that much power like nos or turbo...... Look at area 51's supercharger for that car... they had problems with reliability of the piston rings on the qr25 motor I heard on SE-R.net If you going to spend the money just get a DET. I would not spend a dime on that qr25 sissy motor. No offensive to anyone with a qr25 I just do not like them----My opinion.
