Ok I believe its the clutch finally kaput! Lemme ask some peeps though. I throw her into gear, she revs after a second or two(the slip) before taking off. However I can already be in gear...PUNCH IT and it still takes a second or two till it start accelerating. Could it still be the clutch even if i'm not changing gears???

yes! exactly what happened to mine, try readjusting it, it may prolong the life but my friend it seems that your clutch is on the way out.

thats whats happening to me too. i think. On first gear i press the gas and let off the clutch like normal and all it does is rev real high and not go, but i have to baby it and only rev to like 2 or 3k and it'll slowly start out,, but on any gear, not just first gear , if i push the gas harder than just babying it, it'll rev like its in neutral. Do you think this can be adjusted? or am i going to be forced to buy a new clutch? If i can adjust it, how do i do taht?

alright, so eliterit, your clutch is definitely screwed. i had the same exact thing happening with mine. adjustment probably wont help too much when youre at that level. you just need a new one.

ihateloops, thanks for the info. i kinda figured i had to buy a new one but it doesnt hurt to ask. Well my car has been sitting for a about 2 weeks now sincei dont have the cash to get a clutch. and my dad is offering to get me aclutch but sadly its probably going to be a cheapy rebuild. :( , i mean i cant complain seeing is i cant drive my car at all right now. Anyone have anything to say about rebuilds and how long they last? compared to getting a act or equal?

thanks for the info
