There actually has been a discussion about this a few threads down or so...But im not sure if anyone here has tried it out. The only thing I know is...The price is pretty good and its made for the SR20DET(RWD/FWD).

Yes you can program injector size and maf size with the greddy emanage. You can also change over to MAP sensor if you so desire.

so if you can program your maf,and injectors you would not have to send your ecu to jim wolf..... is this correct? sounds lke jwt will be losing buisness because of this ....

Yes that is true, you do not need to send your ECU to JWT for programing. But JWT has such a large following, not to mention their are many people out there who do not actually know how to tune their cars, and enjoy the luxury of plug and play that JWT shouldn't have a problem selling ECUs. Persoanally I believe JWT isn't plug and play and requires a little bit of tuning to pull the added HP. Just IMHO

Yellow4G63- do you have this thing? I would LOVE to see the documentation for this thing. Have them in electronic format that you could send to me or post on some web space to download?

I dont understand what the pressure sensor is for. Is it saying you wouldnt have to upgrade your MAF?

U don't get rid of the MAF with the MAP. U use the MAP to tune with. Rather than tune by throttle % u would tune by boost. Hope that helps u.

From what it looks like and seems...Anyone correct me if wrong. The GReddy e-manage looks pretty good if u dont want a wide range of tuning. Cause from the stats and what not...Its pretty much a ApexI AFC, but in a software format. Cause it only does
+-50%, etc.., etc... But it does log which is good. Im not sure. If u wanna do wild things which may be out of the reach if this unit, then...Save money and spend bigger. IMO

Nope

If it was just a super AFC in Software format then it would only control fuel.

With the AFC u can't control ignition timing
With the AFC u can only go 50% over stock injectors The Emange will let u go 150%
It has a boost cut feature in it and Anti Stall for Venting the BOV if u really wanted too. I'm not sure if this works cause could never get it to work right. Both AFC an Emange will let u upgrade MAF's but the Emange is alot easier to use. The big thing about this is that u can map out ur fuel and ignition on 16X16 maps.
U can hook up a MAP sensor to the AFC an the Emange.

This may be a dumb question.

So are you saying for example, you could use a 2 bar Map sensor, and get rid of the Maf? Or are you saying you can use both at the same time.

Or am I totally confused as to what a Map sensor is?

Oh ok thanks yellow4g! I really didnt know for sure if it did more that +-50%...But that some good info and yea I kinda knew it did timing and what not, but I was kinda comparing it to something. But now I know!

Oh ok. The Greddy Map Sensor or a GM 3 bar map sensor can be used. U don't get rid of the MAF when u have the Map Sensor hooked up. U see with Just the MAF u will tune by Throttle %. With the Map sesnor u will have another input sorce other than Throttle %. The Boost Presure will help u fine tune the car by only adding x amount at Z amount of boost reather than 20% vs 60%.

Yes you can use both the MAP and MAF at the same time, Basically you use the MAP to tune the car as opposed to the Throttle Position Sensor. It is more accurate.

Possible stupid question # 2:

So if you use a Map and Maf sensor at the same time, do you use the Map sensor ONLY for tuning, then take it off? Or does it stay on the car all the time, as in daily driving?

Yellow4g63

map stays all the time.
